About Me
Richard Lock is a Founding Partner of Lakatos, Köves and Partners, and heads the firm's Corporate/M&A practice. Richard is an English solicitor, and is registered at the Budapest Bar as a European lawyer. He worked for several years in London with Clifford Chance before moving to Budapest in 1992, and for many years was one of the partners in Clifford Chance’s Budapest office. Richard has worked in Hungary and in other countries in Central Europe on privatizations and cross border investment transactions. A resident of Hungary for the past 20 years, he has extensive experience of advising foreign investors on their activity in Hungary.
