Racine announces internal partner appointments

Paris, 14 Dec, 2023 - Amanda Galvan, Guillaume Thuleau and Bruno Laffont are appointed partners in the firm's Employment and Corporate departments.

Racine has announced the appointment of three of the firm's top talents, Amanda Galvan, Guillaume Thuleau and Bruno Laffont, currently Counsel, as Partners. These three appointments, effective January 1, 2024, strengthen the firm's capabilities and confirm its emphasis on internal promotion. This appointment marks an important milestone for the firm as a whole and is a sign of the appreciation of the partners of Racine Avocats for the work of these three renowned lawyers. The three new partners will strengthen the firm's corporate and employment practices.

- Amanda Galvan has been named a partner in Racine's labor and employment department. Admitted to the Paris bar in 2010, she joined Racine in 2018. Amanda assists the firm's clients in managing their individual and collective employment relationships. In particular, she has developed a particular expertise in assisting companies in bonis or in difficulties (in the context of collective proceedings) in the implementation of their reorganization project. She holds a Master II in Labor Law and a Magistère in Business Law, both from the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Amanda is recognized as "Ones to Watch" in the "Employment Law" category in the 2024 edition of Best Lawyers.

- Guillaume Thuleau becomes a partner in Racine's employment department. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2007 and joined Racine in 2012. He advises and litigates on all complex employment and social security issues on behalf of French and international companies. Guillaume advises them, in particular with the M&A department, on their transformation projects, on divestitures, mergers, acquisitions or reorganizations. With the Tax Department, he is also developing a recognized practice in international mobility. Guillaume holds a DEA in General Private Law and a DESS in Labor Law and Practice, both from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.

- Bruno Laffont has been appointed partner in Racine's corporate department. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008, he joined Racine in 2017. His day-to-day practice focuses on M&A and market transactions (IPOs, public offerings, securities offerings, etc.) for the firm's French and international corporate clients, both listed and unlisted. Bruno Laffont also advises on corporate governance issues and, more generally, on all corporate matters. He holds a doctorate in law and a post-graduate diploma (DESS) in business law from the Université des Sciences Sociales de Toulouse I.
