Two Multilaw members were awarded Women In Law Awards for their respective countries at the Chambers Women in Law Awards which took place at The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago, Chile, on Thursday 10 May 2018. Carolina Zang from Zang Bergel & Viñes Abogados won the WiL Award for Argentina and Corina Bove from Guyer & Regules won the WiL Award for Uruguay.

Over the past four years Chambers & Partners have conducted extensive research into gender diversity in Latin America and hosted diversity seminars across the region, including events in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Santiago and Bogotá. The Women in Law Awards represent the culmination of their research and also celebrate those who are advancing gender equality and providing equal opportunities to women across Latin America.

The Chambers Women in Law Awards recognise those pioneers who have furthered the advancement of women within the legal sphere. The Awards seek to highlight these achievements, empower the people behind innovative women’s initiatives, and give greater visibility to gender diversity.
