Lennox Paton joins as new member firm for the Bahamas

Lennox Paton has joined Multilaw as the member firm for the Bahamas.

The expansion into the Bahamas is only the latest upgrade for Multilaw in the Caribbean. The network, which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, recently admitted offshore heavyweights Mourant, based in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands, and Fosters, Saint Lucia’s top firm. With the addition of Lennox Paton, Multilaw now boasts a first-tier Caribbean offering to match its status in other regions: Multilaw is widely regarded as the strongest network in Asia and the Americas, while its EMEA offering has enjoyed record growth in the past year with the addition of top-tier firms in Austria, Bulgaria, Egypt and Ukraine. It is also in the process of adding market-leading firms in Denmark and Bangladesh.

Adam Cooke, Executive Director of Multilaw, said: “I am thrilled to welcome our new member for the Bahamas, Lennox Paton. Their reputation is an impressive one and it would be impossible to compose a list of leading firms in the Bahamas without the firm’s name featuring at or near the top of such a list. This is a valuable addition for Multilaw and enhances our position as one of the leading legal networks operating in the world today.”

Brian Simms QC, Senior Partner at Lennox Paton, said: “We are extremely excited to be part of such a successful network and we look forward to developing relationships with member firms in the global marketplace.”
