Multilaw Academy 2018 delegates help out local Chiang Mai school

 

Each year at the Multilaw Academy, attendees and faculty members take a break from their working sessions to participate in a pro-bono activity in the local community. At the 2018 Academy, which took place in Chiang Mai last week,  the group raised £2000 for the Ban Pong School which they visited on Thursday afternoon to see how their donation went towards a much-needed refurbishment of the restrooms and the building of a brand new library.

During the visit both the attendees and faculty helped to paint the new library and restrooms and in return the children from the school put on some traditional Thai shows as well as providing the attendees with some traditional Thai cuisine including fruit popsicle, Ka-Nom Kluay (steamed banana with coconut milk) and Ka-Nom Dok Jok (crispy cookie).
