Jorge Mondragón Assumes Role as Chair of Multilaw

Multilaw is delighted to announce the appointment of Jorge Mondragón from member firm Gonzalez Calvillo in Mexico as Chair. Jorge succeeds the dedicated term of Carmo Sousa Machado of member firm Abreu Advogados, Portugal. The transition took place on Saturday, 21 October, at the Annual General Meeting in Munich.

Having been a valuable member of the Multilaw Board since 2014, Jorge's contributions have been numerous. He has played an instrumental role in the Managing Partners forum of Multilaw and more recently as co-chair of the Pro-Bono & Charitable Activities Committee, Jorge has been influential in directing the network's dedication to charitable initiatives.

With a distinguished legal career spanning almost three decades, Jorge brings to the table an extensive wealth of knowledge and expertise. As co-managing partner of Gonzalez Calvillo, Jorge currently heads the firm’s corporate practice group. His legal and commercial business-oriented practice has a core focus on corporate, commercial, franchising, licensing, distribution, technology, and business retail matters. Headquartered in Mexico City, Gonzalez Calvillo is top tier firm known worldwide for its wide range of expertise across over 25 practice areas and sectors.
