The Portuguese international player Nani, was assisted by member firm Abreu Advogados in the signing of his two seasons contract with the Australian club Melbourne Victory.

The Abreu Advogados team that assisted this operation was coordinated by Fernando Veiga Gomes, partner and co-coordinator of the sports law practice area of Abreu Advogados, having also counted with the participation of a multidisciplinary team of the firm.

The transfer of the player to the Australian club occurs after the termination, by mutual agreement, of his contract until 2023 with the Italian club Venezia FC.

Abreu Advogados has been advising on previous transfers of the player, such as the move from Valencia to Sporting, in July 2018, and the contract signed with Orlando City Soccer Club, a team from the North American football league, Major League Soccer, in February 2019.
