To date, RegTech is not very well-known in Thailand, and it is mostly discussed at a basic conceptual level in respect to what services may be offered under the umbrella.

Legal Affairs

There is no specific law which addresses RegTech services. However, there are various regulations and license requirements which are specific to each industry in respect to banking and financial services. Regulations may also vary according to the type of modern technology used, in order to comply with other regulations in that industry.
