The climate towards RegTech-services is positive and the Swiss government is looking at the topic to evaluate whether appropriate regulation in necessary to strengthen the Swiss financial market.

Legal Affairs

There is is no special financial market regulation covering such RegTech services.

Economic Conditions

Notwithstanding that 10-15% of all jobs in the financial industry relate to activities as Governance, risk management and compliance Reg Tech (provided by third parties) in Switzerland is in an early stage (see Franca Contratto, Reg Tech: Digitale Wende für Aufsicht und Compliance,, 15.8.2016). There are no such companies as Sybenetix, Fintellix, Crlytics in the UK and Ireland.
