About Me
Beatriz co-heads the Real Estate Department and heads the Environmental & Regulatory Department.

She specialises in advising, commercial, industrial, and housing real estate developments as well as agribusinesses and forestry companies in their structuring, financing and environmental and regulatory compliance.

She has experience in renewable energy projects and mining, having advised mining on easement processes as well as in environmental and regulatory due diligence.

She has been recognised by the international publications “Legal 500 Latin America”, “Chambers” and “IFLR” and has participated in several national and international conferences on her areas of expertise.

As a professor, she dictates courses on rural real estate contracts and environmental matters in the Notarial Graduate Course at Universidad de Montevideo and has dictated courses on renewable energy projects at Universidad Católica del Uruguay.

She is an Officer of the Environmental, Health & Safety Committee of the International Bar Association and founding member of the Consejo Empresarial de Sistema B in Uruguay and UN Global Compact Uruguay.

Beatriz actively participates in several pro-bono initiatives, in particular on environmental matters and sustainability.

She is Pro Bono Coordinator at the firm and leads the Sustainability Committee.
