About Me
Michael Berghaus is a partner and specialist lawyer for building and architectural law. His work focuses on advising companies, investors and private individuals on all legal issues relating to real estate, with the emphasis on building and architectural law as well as public building law. Education
Michael Berghaus studied law at Saarland University in Saarbrücken starting in the winter semester 1978/79 and at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn from the winter semester 1979/80. After completing his education with the second state examination in law, he was an academic assistant at the Chair of Civil Law at the Law Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Bonn. During this time, he completed his doctorate at this chair with the thesis "The Collision of Factoring Global Assignment with Extended Retention of Title".
Michael Berghaus has been working as a lawyer in Düsseldorf since September1988, initially as an employed lawyer and since 1991 as a partner in a law firm specialising mainly in building and real estate law.
