Dr. André is the Senior Partner of LEXINCORP (Costa Rica) - Central American Law Firm- He serves simultaneously as General Honorary Consul of Norway since 1997, and has accomplished the position as President of the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce (2010-2013), acted as a member of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican-German Chamber of Commerce in San José. He is recognized as one of the leading attorneys in Costa Rica, maintaining strong ties with the European and American communities. He served as President of the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce and was also appointed Curator of the Supreme Court of Justice, Law Professor at the University of Costa Rica, 1984-1994, and International Arbitrator (Appointed by the President of Costa Rica) for the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Costa Rica and the Republic of Chile, 2007, Legal advisor for the Embassies of Germany, Switzerland, and Austria in Costa Rica, and also the Norwegian Embassy in Nicaragua. He is currently a member of several Boards of Directors of Companies in Costa Rica and abroad. His practice areas include international law, investment, commercial and contracts law, arbitration and ADR, tax and real estate. He is fluent in Spanish, English and German.
