Emilio Battioli is a partner at Zang, Bergel & Viñes Abogados in charge of the Public Law Department. He has a long professional experience in the field of public services, administrative law, public-private relations and regulation, with a Law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, summa cum laude (Diploma de Honor) and postgraduate studies at the University of Warwick, England, and Kyoto Comparative Law Centre, Japan.
Throughout his trajectory at the firm, he developed an extensive experience in privatizations, utilities regulation, M&A and corporate law. He has advised various Argentine and foreign corporations on power and gas privatizations and acquisitions in Argentina, Bolivia and Uruguay, and other infrastructure and real estate development projects. He acted as well as General Counsel of Azurix Buenos Aires S.A., a water utility servicing the Province of Buenos Aires. He has also been active in the field of the relationship between intellectual property and international trade.
