About Me
Diego Embón Specializes in Finance and Tax Law. Diego recently joined Zang, Bergel & Viñes Abogados and is in charge of the Tax Law Department. He renders advice on national, provincial and municipal taxes as well as on tax planning at both local and international levels. In tax litigation matters, he has gained wide experience both in the public and private sectors while representing many clients in many highly complex proceedings related to inspections, verifications and assessments of taxes; investigation proceedings for formal and material infringements; actions seeking the repayment of taxes wrongfully paid; declaratory actions of unconstitutionality and actions seeking the protection of constitutional rights.
Before joining Zang, Bergel & Viñes Abogados, he was a part of Brons & Salas law firm, since 2002.
Diego has participated in the drafting of many specialized publications.
In 1995, he received his LL. B. from the Universidad de Belgrano, where he finished his specialization in Finance and Tax Law in 2006.
From 2013 to 2016, Diego was Associate Professor of the “Regulation II” course in the Administrative Law Specialization at the Universidad Católica de La Plata. He was also a professor of the “Finance and Tax Law” course at the School of Law of the Universidad de Buenos Aires (1997-2001) and a graduate auxiliary professor of the “Philosophy of the Law” course at the School of Law of the Universidad de Belgrano (1996-1999).
