Philippe Woesch is a partner in the Banking & Finance team at Schalast. His areas of expertise is advising banks and financial service providers as well as investors in the fields of project finance, real estate finance, asset-backed finance, acquisition finance and also other types of financing. He is also active in loan syndication and in the drafting of facility agreements, security agreements as well as security pooling agreements. Furthermore Philippe Woesch has many years of experience advising clients in the FinTech sector.
Born in Heidelberg, Philippe Woesch studied law at the universities of Heidelberg and Cologne. After being admitted to the bar in 2011, Philippe Woesch joined a renowned law firm in Cologne where he specialized in advising banks. Then he worked in banking law for several years for a large international law firm in Frankfurt am Main.
Philippe Woesch graduated from university of Cologne in 2012 with a Masters of Laws in commercial law with focus in economics. During a secondment in 2016 he spent 5 months working in the legal department of an automotive bank and supported the bank from the initial stages in the Banking & Finance area.
