About Me
I am a partner specialising in the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts and in advisory work involving intellectual property, information technology and commercial law. I also advise on data protection.
I have extensive experience of advising on and negotiating complex contractual arrangements, particularly for clients in the technology, media, retail and leisure sectors. My experience includes the licensing of technology, content and data, as well as UK and international outsourcing, distribution, agency, franchising and sponsorship arrangements. I also provide clients with strategic advice on the protection and exploitation of their brands.
I have spent time on secondment as the acting Principal Commercial Lawyer at the John Lewis Partnership, where I led a team of four lawyers providing commercial, IT and IP advice to John Lewis (a large UK department store chain) and Waitrose (a leading UK supermarket).
