About Me
Murrough is a partner specialising in litigation and dispute resolution.
Murrough has developed extensive and broad-ranging expertise across all areas of commercial litigation and dispute resolution procedures including conciliation, mediation and arbitration. He has considerable experience in handling complex commercial cases within the expedited case management procedures of the Commercial Court in Ireland for both plaintiffs and defendants.

He has a particular expertise in the areas of professional negligence, banking and financial services, defamation, employer’s liability, public liability, product liability, injunctions, Norwich Pharmacal type orders, recovery and material damage claims.

Murrough has acted for a large number of both public and private sector clients in judicial review proceedings including challenges to the award of public contracts.

Murrough’s clients include financial institutions, insurance companies, public bodies, private and publicly quoted companies and individuals.

Murrough currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght.
