About Me
Lesley is a partner and head of the private client team at Shakespeare Martineau, having joined the firm as a partner in 2010.

Lesley has more than 20 years' experience working with private individuals and families to protect their wealth for the future, through planning tax efficient succession of their assets; administration of estates on death; creation and administration of family and charitable trusts. She also undertakes Court of Protection work including Deputyships and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Lesley has built a reputation for her work helping families establish and administer Personal Injury Trusts to take receipt of settlement monies after a successful claim through the Courts.

Lesley works with a broad range of client, including those with established wealth, recent inheritances, private means and business owners, who all appreciate her reputation for delivering no-nonsense legal advice on what are often sensitive issues. Lesley also advises a number of charities and charitable institutions on a wide range of legal matters.
