About Me
I am a commercial lawyer, specialising in intellectual property, technology and privacy. I advise on IT and telecommunications contracts, intellectual property and technology licensing, strategic commercial agreements, data protection, e-commerce and rights in data, and brand protection. I have in-depth commercial experience, including through secondments with telecoms suppliers. Much of my work has an international element.
I am rated in ‘band 1’ for intellectual property by Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession, where I am described as 'smart, approachable, responsive and easy to work with'. I am also recommended by The Legal 500, where I have been described as 'professional, pragmatic and knowledgeable'. I am the vice-chair of the Data Protection Substantive Law Committee for the iTechLaw Association.
I am also a member of the Society for Computers and Law and the International Trademark Association. I co-chair the Multilaw Privacy and Information Security Group, am a member of the Multilaw IP/IT sub-group and a faculty member of the Multilaw Academy. I am a contributing author to the UK chapter (privacy section) of Media, Advertising and Entertainment Laws Throughout the World.
