About Me
Alexander Gebhard is a partner in the Banking & Finance Department of Schalast. He advises banks, financial institutions and investors in all areas of banking, financial markets and investment regulation.

His work focuses on all matters related to licensed financial activities and regulatory compliance. He has extensive experience in structuring financial products, including regulatory capital instruments, and the foundation, structuring and acquisition of financial institutions and investment vehicles. He also advises on all matters related to outsourcing of financial activities as well as cross-border matters. Another special focus is on advising on fintech projects and joint ventures in the financial sector. The clients, he represents, include banks, financial institutions as well as investment, fintech and insurance companies.

Alexander Gebhard joined Schalast in 2012. Prior, he received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in London and worked with two international law firms.

Besides, Alexander Gebhard is a lecturer for banking and civil law at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
