Mr. Marcus M. Hotze works in the Berlin office of our law firm and is member of the Practice Group “IT, IP & Media“.


Marcus Hotze mainly advises in the fields of Media, IT and Sport. He has long-time experience in advising national and international clients as well as excellent contacts in these industries. Besides the consultation of media companies in questions of business law with regard to transactions or license and regulatory issues, Marcus M. Hotze is a specialist for questions regarding advertisement law and marketing rights. He advises agencies, advertising companies, sponsors and prominent historic figures with the arrangement of their marketing cooperations. In addition to that, he advises renowned middle-sized companies and Start-Ups in IT projects, structured outsourcing activities and in questions of IT compliance.


Marcus M. Hotze is assistant lecturer at the Macromedia academy for Media and Communication (MHMK) for “sport- and event law” as well as “sponsoring” and has been giving lectures at the University of Hamburg in media and multimedia law for many years.
