About Me
For almost 30 years Ariane counsels Belgian and international clients on general commercial issues as well as on complex contractual matters and the drafting of all types of commercial agreements (sales, leases, distribution, agency agreements, franchise, commercial co-operation agreements, license agreements, national and international agreements, guarantees, …). She has developed solid experience in general contract law, starting from the conclusion of agreements, the execution and enforcement of contractual obligations to the termination of agreements and different kinds of liability and claims for compensation.

Over the years, she has developed a growing expertise in distribution law, particularly in the automotive industry. She assists clients in the development of complex networks and distribution strategies adapted to their specific needs and in accordance with national and European law, keeping dealership contracts up-to-date and in line with the latest European requirements, for all kinds of sectors ( cars, clothing, toys, food, furniture, medical and paramedical devices, …).

Ariane treats all kinds of litigation before the Belgian courts and arbitral tribunals ( both in Dutch and in French) and the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. Her commercial law and distribution law practice received extensive market recognition and she is thus solicited as speaker at universities, Bar institutions and several professional organisations.
