Multilaw has been shortlisted in the Global Network of the Year category of The Lawyer European Awards 2016

Multilaw has been shortlisted in the Global Network of the Year category of The Lawyer European Awards 2016. The Lawyer European Awards have been existence for some years now and they are  now firmly established as one of the leading awards in the European legal market. This is the first year that a category for Global Legal Networks has been included in the awards. The judges this year included the GCs of HBO Europe, Linde, Unisys and senior partners from Slaughter and May and Macfarlanes among others.  The current chair of World Services Group was also on the judging panel.  In the Global Networks category they were looking for:
  • Evidence of strategic vision, particularly focused on cross border initiatives
  • Consistent excellence in delivery of legal services and
  • Outstanding talent management

The judging process was a rigorous one and the questions put to us by the judging panel showed a real understanding of the challenges faced by and opportunities available to Global networks today.

I have no doubt that our online referral system and appraisal system played a part in us making the shortlist. I would also like to pay tribute to the hard work put in by Caroline Kerr and Sergio Colina over the past year.  We are a small team but we have shown we can achieve great things.
Adam Cooke, Executive Director

We are also delighted that three of our Multilaw European members have also been shortlisted for awards this year.  Namely, Schalast & Partner -  law firm of the Year for Germany and also European banking and finance deal of the year, Moroglu Arseven -  law firm of the year for Turkey and Tuca Zbarcea & Associatii -  law firm of the year for Romania.

They are testament to the depth and strength of Multilaw’s coverage across Europe.
