IBP-PiArb Commercial Arbitration Training


The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), in collaboration with the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators (PIArb), held the IBP-PIArb Commercial Arbitration Training Seminar last July 18, 2016. SyCipLaw Litigation Department Head Ricardo Ma. P.G. Ongkiko did a lecture on the Case Management Conference.

The training aimed to promote awareness on the various developments in arbitration among Philippine lawyers. The President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Datuk Sundra Rajoo was included in the distinguished set of speakers and panelists. The training was attended by more than 120 participants.

Mr. Ongkiko is the current President of the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators. He is also one of a handful of Filipinos who are Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
