It was established in 1997 through the merger of two well-established Utrecht firms, Advocatenkantoor Bosselaar (1949) and Strengers Advocaten (1973). The firm currently has 21 lawyers.

Bosselaar & Strengers is based in Utrecht, the fourth largest city in the Netherlands. Utrecht is centrally located in the country at the eastern edge of the Randstad conurbation.
